Nothing could ever beat investing in your own skin. I mean, it’s all about the skin for me. Asides using great skincare products, sunscreen and the likes (I have a blog post on this, you should check it out: Benefits of using sunscreen), one thing you should add to your skincare routine is to go for spa sessions regularly.

First off, a spa is a place that offers therapeutic services such as massages, facials, body treatments, manicure and pedicure.

  • A massage will help you relax and get rid of body tension.
  • A facial is a “deep” cleansing of your face. Not the regular soap and water washing of face we do every day.
  • A body treatment which will definitely exfoliate and soften your body.
  • A pedicure and manicure which obviously includes the treatment of your hands and feet, nails inclusive.

See ehn, that’s one of the secrets to healthy and young skin. Kylie Jenner no do pass this. It helps you look fresh and it also opens up your skin pores.

That is why in this blog post, if you’re in Lagos, Nigeria, I have decided to put together a list of the best 5 spas in Lagos. My abroad friends are not exempted too, If you ever decide to visit Nigeria and you’re in Lagos specifically, just go to any of these spas I’ll be listing below. Tell them Mimie Jay sent you. As in… just mention my name, it’ll be raining discounts. Jk.

This selection is based on personal reviews and judgement and trust me nOT to lead you guys astray now!

Before I go on, I hope you guys know that spa sessions are not just for ladies alone. So many men (I switched to men because I mean the male gender here) think only of ladies when they hear facials or pedicure and all. Don’t we all deserve enjoyment? So this post is definitely for everybody, okayyyyyy?

As usual, they are in no particular order so here goes

You can get your facials done here, nails, hair, name it. You even get a complimentary glass of wine and it’s on the house!!!. How cool is that? They also have a spa kitchen, guys! I know it’s not all of us that is doing fitfam upandan, so you can even get amazing meals in between your spa sessions and whatever. You can ask for sandwiches, soups, salads, even chicken. Is God not a good God? My people, I could go on and on but I’ll leave the rest of the review to you when you pay them a visit of course.
