Your eyelashes have the power to change your entire makeup look! Yes, you heard that right! It can take your makeup from 0 to 100 real quick. In addition to other makeup hacks you probably don’t know about that I previously wrote, this is a good one for my people with tiny eyelashes or non-existent ones, this article is purely for you. In order to make your eyelashes pop, the most important tool is an Eyelash Curler. It is something so light and easy to carry. Whether you are new in the makeup world or are a pro artist, I am here to guide you through this excellent tool that will make your eyelashes steal the spotlight!

What Kind Of Eyelash Curler Should I get?

Before we dive into the use of an eyelash curler in a proper way, we need to understand that there are two categories of eyelash curlers that are available in the market. The eyelash curler you should buy clearly depends upon your personal preference, but you need to know that the available options. The first kind of an eyelash curler is the heated one, while the second category is the non-heated eyelash curlers. As a beginner, you should stick to the non-heated eyelash curlers as they will help you curl your eyelashes easily.

Start With Clean And Dry Lashes

It is quite understandable that you might be tired from last night and have some left-over mascara on your lashes. But, if you want to have a perfect curl, you must have clean and dry eyelashes. You can use a variety of makeup cleansers to take the left-over mascara off. I personally use different sorts of micellar waters available from different brands for removing my mascara.

Complete Your Eye Makeup

Before you move to curling your lashes, it is important that you have your eye makeup done. Once you have completed that, you can proceed towards eye-lash curling and the last step would be your mascara. Be careful that you don’t put Mascara on first, otherwise, you will end up damaging your lashes.

Curl Your Eyelashes Using The Eyelash Curler

Now that you have clean eyelashes, with eye-makeup done, you can start curling your eyelashes. Firstly, take the unheated eyelash curler and open its clamps. This is just like a pair of scissors. Now, bring the open eye-lash curler close to your upper lash line, with your lashes inside the curler. Be careful, not to bring it too close. Once your eyelashes are inside, clamp down. This step might seem horrifying to you guys. Trust me, I have been scared by this step all my life! But, that’s okay, we need to be brave to look beautiful, right? Repeat the same steps on your other eye. And, top it off with your favourite mascara! Voila! Your eyelashes are now dramatic looking as ever!

Keep Your Eyelash Curler Clean

The last and the most important step is to keep your eyelash curler clean. If you have tonnes of dirt over it, or even makeup from your makeup kit, it will end up creating bacteria on the curler. This bacteria might get into your eyes later, so better be safe!
